Privacy Policy
For the iOS app “机大师 (JiDaShi)” · Effective 2026-10-25
In short: we collect nothing. JiDaShi has no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no third‑party SDKs. Everything between your iPhone and your camera travels locally (USB cable, the camera's hotspot or your own network).
1. Where data goes
- Live view and camera settings come straight from your camera to your iPhone, are only displayed, and are never stored or uploaded.
- Photos transferred from the camera are kept in the app's own folder (visible in the Files app) and written to your photo library only when you choose to save them. They never leave your device.
- Camera credentials (access authentication user, password, fingerprint, hotspot password) are stored only in this iPhone's Keychain and used only to connect to your camera.
2. Permissions and why
| Camera | Scan the authentication info and Wi‑Fi QR code on the camera's screen (recognised on device); iOS also requires it to control a camera over USB. |
| Local Network | Find and connect to your camera on your network or its hotspot. |
| Join Wi‑Fi | Join the camera's own Wi‑Fi when you use the camera‑hotspot connection; iOS asks you first. |
| Photos (add) | Save the photos you choose to your library. |
You can turn any permission off in iOS Settings at any time.
3. What we don't do
- No collection, storage or upload of personal data, photos or images;
- No analytics, advertising or crash‑reporting SDKs;
- No sign‑up and no cloud services.
4. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
5. Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
